Accu Weather segment from WPVI Philadelphia's Nora Muchanic from the National Weather Service with details of the new radar WPVI now had access to as "Action Radar" for "Action News" newscasts...Not sure why they had Muchanic report this and not send Dave Roberts to do the story. Odd. Then, the debut of the radar. Next, a promo from WCAU for EARTHWATCH and a promo from WPVI for Accu Weather & Action Radar

06/01/1996 Forecasted snow WCAU Promos + Weather Clips

First, Promos WCAU in Philadelphia for the next winter storm, and reporting of Earthwatch ... then a clip of Glenn Schwartz is doing and the weather begins to see "The Blizzard of '96" in the horizon - with preliminary storm totals of only 6 to 12 inches. We ended up with 23 to 31 inches! The late Siani Lee anchors "News 10" with Tim Lake ... Promotion of winter storm coverage during the Eagles game to rest ... then back to throw to Glenn, now, at least "to imitate, a closeBlizzard "... now totals storm on the threshold of 10 to 20 ... with 15 to 25 inches over parts of Delaware and South Jersey ...
