The polar bear dive for the Special Olympics held in Delaware was one month later this year due to snow storms in February. Weather almost derailed again as a northwesterly wind was just off the coast on the makeup date. This causes high waves and rough surf, making officials that polar bears only knee-deep in water. Since this was the case, I decided to wade in the water with my camera. I went back later and flooded my mind at least, as seen at the end of the vid. The waterair temperature was 42 degrees and 48, all in all a reasonably comfortable dive
