Delaware Hail! Hailstorm ...

Today was the rain and most of the day. Then we get a surprise - we have even some hail! The largest piece, and a half inches long. After the storm subsided, we walked from the store. On the way home the weather is crazy! Torrential rain through an amazing amount of hail in the space of approximately four minutes. The hail was about marble size, and was so close, we went around and hoping for no windshield cracks. (I'm sure I have a few dents better to do, when I look tomorrow). If weBack to our neighborhood, we were able to slip and slide on our street, there was so much ice! Fun! Oh, my garden has a spanking. But when all was ready, we got a beautiful rainbow. And at the end of another crazy day we had a lightning touch the rainbow, and I was lucky enough to be captured in a photograph! The higher res screen, this turtleandfrog.com / rainbow.jpg and turtleandfrog.com/rainbow2.JPG

A cottage in Kent UK - the land of Dickens, Chaucer and Canterbury

A holiday in England Kent Dover offers more than just, Dickens, Chaucer, cathedrals, towers and castles - England, and in particular, Kent, representing the epitome of all things English, and England as Kent is the Garden, there is no better place to delve into the pleasures, beauty and history of this world-class island and its people.

England has run through the history and culture of each castle wall, each and every line of prose Sun Variegated glass windows overlooking the graves of those who so loved this island has been said many times, their thoughts wander through the old streets, and that one never really defended itself in the ruins of castles and keeps this country against those whose jealous eyes fell on his Golden Sands, the white cliffs and green hills.

If you visit the UK, it is very likely that one of the first sights you see are the famous white cliffs of> Dover. This black chalk and flint cliffs a hundred feet high above the edge of the country in a clear distinctive style, but slightly further inland, any suggestion of the straight edges decays rapidly mark. How to witness to the green hills like a blanket spread around shaking, you are the best indicators of rural England, with hedges full of life along the highways.

Beer drinking is one of the more fun English traditions, and noKent vacation without a visit to an old English pub, complete, deep in the province known for its hops. The English pub has managed to preserve the tradition in more senses than just the sale of good, old fashioned and locally brewed beer. Each pub welcomes you with a unique style, and no two pubs always the same. The meals are quite often something you should expect and how the traditional Englishman has a good appetite, and the portions are asfavorable than welcome.

For many people, the traditional images of England are written based on the classical descriptions and stories of Charles Dickens. In fact, for many people, Dickens, popularized the now thoroughly traditional Christmas celebrations. Kent is home to the home town Rochester Dickens. It has a settlement before the Roman period and the history of this old town can be traced and very experienced. A guide will certainly help youthe richness of the architectural heritage of the city, including the castle and cathedral. As the tour your guide will allow you to focus your attention on places mentioned or displayed in many of Dickens' novels, like his "Great Expectations", "The Pickwick Papers" and "The Mystery of Edwin Drood". There is a Dickens Centre, which is well worth seeing.

While England has many good writers, many of which helped shape and broughtDescribe English life, its cities and villages, and of course, in particular, the people, Geoffrey Chaucer, who stands, perhaps. His "Canterbury Tales" tell of the many characters easily recognizable on the road to the pilgrimage. Canterbury is not too far away, and if you're lucky, have a native driver, you will be able to admire this ancient city. It has a settlement since prehistoric times, and the city of Canterbury itself offers a wealth of Brythonic isthe history and culture to enjoy. The cathedral itself is beautiful, and is a World Heritage Site. Founded by St. Augustine in 597, he claimed, the most visited place somewhere in England. Early ruins of the abbey and the castle that once stood here are still visible, and a good guide, you can show more than crumbling stones.

As you visit the picturesque charm and historic highlights of Kent during your vacation in England, you can also think that Kent was untouched,in a bubble remaining time to the raw concrete and silicon rejects the reality of the twenty-first century. As you through the market town of Hythe coastal forest walk, this impression may be confirmed when the distinctive whistle of a steam locomotive belonging. The Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway maintains this beautiful and remarkable engine, and a trip to one of these classic features are strongly recommended. Sit back, enjoy a drink in your car, watch, fourteen miles of rolling green countryside along your window.

From the moment you start your vacation in England Kent, Dickens and Chaucer's world come alive, and there is no question that the landscape, the fresh air and breathes the history of each castle wall and the imposing cathedral will inspire you and a holiday in England, you will never forget.
