"Not My Day" at the Delaware River Railroad

I visited the Delaware River Railroad in Phillipsburg, NJ on August 15, 2010. Why do I say that it is "not my day"? Because the weather sucked - I had no umbrella, no poncho, no hat, and was soaking wet waiting for a couple of the trains. In addition, I waited about 40 minutes for a great shot and the 3:30 train - only to find out that it didn't run, due to not having any passengers. And I was having problems with the camera fogging up in the last shot. Overall, not my best day. I'm resolving to return this year, on a better day!! Meanwhile, enjoy the video, and don't forget to check out my other videos!!

An IFR Flight from Lexington to Delaware took me right above the clouds almost the whole way. The plane I was ferrying is a Cessna 182. My route took me over the Appalachians of WV and VA at 9000ft.

First, promos from Philadelphia's WCAU for the upcoming winter storm and coverage by EARTHWATCH...then a clip from Glenn Schwartz doing the weather and beginning to see "the blizzard of '96" in the horizon -- with preliminary storm totals of only 6 to 12 inches. We ended up with 23 to 31 inches!
